Understanding Our Trade-In Tool (Buylist)

Our online portal streamlines the process of checking our
current purchase rates and selling your stock to us. The workflow is simple:
look up your items, build a submission list, and finish the online checkout. After
receiving confirmation from our team, you can either ship your package to our
facility or drop it off directly at our physical storefront. We will then
inspect your items and process your payment.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Pick the Game: Start by choosing the specific Game.
2. Build Your List:
Search for your items and add them to your trade basket.
3. Review the Order: Once everything is added, click the Review button to proceed.
4. Select Payment: Enter your contact details and choose how you want to be paid. Opting for Store Credit grants you a 20% value bonus.
5. Finalize: Click Confirm and Submit.
6. Save Your Reference: Keep a copy of your unique Buylist Reference number.
7. Hold for Approval: Please wait until you receive a formal confirmation email from our team before sending your package or bringing it down to the shop.
8. Deliver the Goods: Ship your parcel or drop it off in-store following the custom instructions sent to your email inbox.
9. Verification: Our staff will double-check your items upon arrival and issue your payout.

Search Troubleshooting

Our search bar accepts item names, specific releases/sets,
or manufacturer codes. If a product isn't showing up, try using highly specific
keywords or product numbers to narrow down the system's database.

System Note: We occasionally take specific items
offline while we fine-tune our automated evaluation algorithms.

Condition Assessment & Grading Standards

Because the final value of your payout is completely dependent on the physical state of the stock when it reaches us, we ask that you grade your items carefully using these standards:
Near Mint: Pristine condition. Looks brand new with zero surface scratches, cosmetic blemishes, or visible wear.
Excellent: Very minor handling marks or exceptionally light wear. Structurally flawless.
Good: Moderate, visible wear from standard use, but still completely functional.
Light Played: Shows distinct signs of heavy handling, minor surface scuffs, or clear aesthetic imperfections.
Poor / Damaged: Severe structural issues, breaks, major staining, or heavy defects. Stock sent in this condition will face drastic deductions or outright rejection.
Important: We reserve the right to lower our financial offer if the items received fall into a lower grade than what was selected during online checkout.

Packaging, Drop-Off, and Shipping Procedure

Inside Your Package
Every delivery or drop off must contain a physical note listing these three pieces of information:
• Your Full Name
• Direct Contact Details
• Your Unique Buylist Reference Number
Omitting this note makes it incredibly difficult to connect your physical items to your digital account, which will result in major payment delays.
Packing Rules / Drop off Rules
• Unless explicitly requested, please strip all protective inner sleeves, cases, or retail packaging from individual items before sending them.
• High-value stock should be secured in standard protective slips. Lower-value pieces can be safely grouped together as long as they are secured tightly inside a rigid box or storage container.
• Fill any empty pockets of space in your shipping container with bubble wrap or packing paper so items cannot shift and sustain damage during transit.

Couriers & Responsibility

Transit risks rest entirely with you until the package safely arrives at our shop. We highly recommend using a shipping service that provides sufficient tracking and insurance coverage for the total value of your stock. Always include a clear return address on your package.
• Standard Courier Services (e.g., Royal Mail, DHL, DPD 2nd Class Signed): These options offer basic transit tracking with a low-tier insurance ceiling.
• Royal Mail Special Delivery: This service includes high-tier minimum insurance coverage, which can be scaled up to protect high-value inventory.
• If using a third-party private courier, ensure you buy secondary insurance directly through your chosen provider.

Payouts, Processing Timelines, and Discrepancies

Processing Windows
The vast majority of standard turn-ins are checked and paid out either on the day they arrive or within 2 working days. While massive bulk lots might require a bit more time to count, we aim to have all arrivals finalized within 3 working days.


20% Store Credit Advantage
Selecting Store Credit as your payout method secures an additional 20% bonus on top of the final valuation total. This credit can be spent freely across our entire retail store and main website.


Offer Adjustments & Valuation Discrepancies
The pricing on our portal is driven by real-time automated data pulled from major market indices like Cardmarket and TCGPlayer. Automated algorithms can occasionally glitch or experience anomalies, leading to incorrect values.
Please Note: The pricing shown on our portal does not serve as a binding contract. A human buyer must manually review and approve every single item before a firm purchase offer is extended.


Why an offer might change:
• The physical item's model, variation, or condition does not match the online list you submitted.
• The stock turns out to be counterfeit, replicated, or an unauthorized copy.
• Market conditions shifted dramatically due to unexpected manufacturer reprints or major industry changes.
• The system algorithm generated a value that is completely out of line with actual market depth.
High-risk categories prone to pricing errors:
• Items with incredibly low sales volumes or no historical transaction records.
• Vintage, rare, or legacy editions where condition drastically changes the value.
• High-value individual products.
• Stock undergoing intense, sudden market speculation or volatility.
• International variants or items printed in non-standard regional languages.


If an offer needs a correction for any of these reasons, we will always get in touch with you for explicit approval before finalizing the transaction in GBP.

Special Submissions & Alternative Categories

High-Value Collections

If you are looking to sell premium luxury items or an
exceptionally massive commercial size collection, please bypass our automated
online system entirely. Instead, message our buying team directly at
sales@livingrealms.co.uk so we can build a custom, manual quote for you.

Bulk Submissions

We highly suggest bringing high-volume bulk lots directly to
our shop in person, as postal fees can easily outweigh the payout value. All
bulk lots must be in the standard regional language and grade at Excellent or
better condition.

Unlisted & International Inventory

  • We
    restrict our purchasing to items printed in the standard regional
    language. International variants are excluded unless explicitly noted
    otherwise.
  • If
    peripheral accessories, related merchandise, or secondary products pop up
    in the search tool by error, please contact us before sending them—the
    automated pricing for non-standard inventory will not be honoured.
  • We
    actively buy pristine, factory-sealed retail merchandise! Reach out to us
    directly for a manual price assessment.

Making Adjustments

If you have already hit submit online but need to make
last-minute edits before your items leave your hands, you can simply create a
brand-new cart and complete checkout again. Alternatively, slip a clear note
detailing the changes inside your package, and our receiving team will fix the
manifest manually during evaluation.
