Gundam TCG - GD05 Release Tournament!

Join us at Living Realms for one of the biggest Gundam Card Game events of the season as we celebrate the release of Freedom Ascension [GD05]!

We're looking forward to welcoming players old and new for an unforgettable release tournament. Whether you're a seasoned commander or attending your very first Gundam event, our Release Tournaments are the perfect way to experience a brand-new set, rip open some fresh packs, and get hands-on with the latest strategies.

Event Structure

Special Release Format

Each player will receive an official Freedom Ascension - Deck Build Box (SC01) upon entry, containing everything needed to take part:

• 4 × GD05 Booster Packs

• 1 × EX Base

• 1 × Bonus Promo Pack

• 125 × Reprint Cards

You'll construct your deck using the following special release rules:

• Your deck must be exactly 50 cards.

• No color restrictions apply when building your deck for this event.

• You can include any number of cards with the same card number.

The event will consist of:

• Swiss Best-of-One (BO1) Rounds

• 3–5 Swiss Rounds (depending on attendance)

• 35 Minute Rounds

• 40 Minutes allotted for Deck Construction Timings: Deck construction begins promptly at 6:00pm on Friday, July 24th, with Round 1 starting immediately after.

• ENTRY – £25

Participation Rewards

Every player who completes the event will receive:

• 1 × Exclusive Shining Gundam Promo Card

• 1 × Exclusive Shining Finger Promo Card

Winner Rewards

The undefeated player at the end of the event will receive:

• 1 × Official Gundam TCG Release Playmat

• 1 × Extra set of Event Promos

Release events are designed to be some of the most welcoming and level playing fields of the year because everyone is working with the same fresh pool of cards!

If you've never built a deck from a Deck Build Box before, don't worry—our team and local community will be on hand throughout the evening to help with deck building, answer rules questions, and make sure everyone has a great experience.

Some helpful tips for newer players:

• Lean on the 125 reprint cards in your box to fill out your core strategies.

• Since there are no color restrictions, feel free to smash your favorite powerful cards together!

• Don't worry about building the "perfect" deck—the fun is discovering the new Freedom Ascension mechanics together.
